General Guidelines

Please take careful note of the following important guidelines before posting in these forums:

  • Make sure you are posting in the correct forum. The forum moderators have worked hard to define a forum category structure that is clear and concise yet flexible enough to cover the community's needs. If you have suggestions for new forum categories, please let us know.
  • Do your best to post well constructed thoughts using correct grammar and careful spelling. Everyone's life will be more pleasant if posts are easy to read. 
  • Post with respect for others.
  • Don't spam.
  • Don't distribute or otherwise publish any material containing any solicitation of funds, or members promotion, advertising, or solicitation for goods or services, or engage in any other commercial activity.
  • "Flaming" is strongly frowned upon in these forums. If you disagree with someone, do so politely and keep an open mind about ensuing responses.
  • Stay on topic. If you wish to post issues that are not related to the topic or forum in which you're currently participating, think about starting a new topic in the correct forum.
  • Remember that the forum system is a place of business. When you use these forums keep the interests of your colleagues and employers in mind. Although your posts may not reflect the views of the company you work for, don't forget to think about how others may perceive your posts.

User Management Policy

Access to this forums system is a privilege, not a right. The forum moderators may allow or disallow access to individuals or groups of people in their absolute discretion.

Content Policy

Our general policy is for content in these forums to be as open and unmoderated as possible, provided that posts stay within the correct forum categories and general usage guidelines. However the forum moderators may alter or delete posts in their absolute discretion.

Privacy

It is our policy to respect the privacy of all users (see our Privacy Policy). Therefore, we will not monitor, edit, or disclose the contents of a users email unless required to do so in the course of maintenance of the forum systems, or by law, or in the instance that such action is necessary (e.g. where there is a complaint or legal action).  

Usage Agreement

By reading or posting in these forums you are agreeing to the following rules. If you do not agree with these rules you should log out of the forums system immediately and contact the forum moderators to cancel your user account.

In order to access these forums you are required to share a small amount of information, much of which is optional, anything you do give must be considered as becoming public information.

You agree to use this forum and not to post any material which is vulgar, defamatory, inaccurate, harassing, hateful, threatening, invading of others privacy, sexually oriented, or violates any laws or rights of any party, or that would constitute or encourage a criminal offence, violate the rights (including copyrights) of any party, or that would otherwise give rise to any liability, or which violates any law.  You also agree that you will not post any copyrighted material that is not owned by yourself or the owners of these forums.

You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages, and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless this forum and their agents with respect to any claim based upon any post you may make.  

We also reserve the right to reveal whatever information we know about you in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by yourself.

Although messages posted are not the responsibility of this forum and we are not responsible for the content or accuracy of any of these messages, we reserve the right to delete any message for any or no reason whatsoever. If you do find any posts are objectionable then please contact the forum moderators by e-mail.

If any failures to comply with our Terms of Use are reported and confirmed, not only will your postings be possibly removed from the Discussion Forums, but you agree that your membership may be revoked without compensation at our discretion.
